The Chelsea Groton Foundation was established in June of 1999 with a two million dollar donation from the bank. Since then, the Foundation has awarded grants to a multitude of charitable organizations throughout Southeastern Connecticut, ranging from educational, cultural, scientific to health care and more.
Grants are awarded on a bi-annual basis.
